The company may submit an application from a person it has recruited itself, or through the pool of candidates that YMA will make available to all interested companies. YMA will not act as an intermediary between the two parties.
The objective is to offer a person a new experience in the world of youth television or digital production, to broaden his or her network of contacts and to participate concretely, based on his or her aptitudes and interests, in the development and production of a program to be broadcast on Radio-Canada, Télé-Québec, TFO or APTN. This training will provide recruits with the skills they need to pursue their careers.
Funding
YMA will provide a grant of $2,500 to contribute to the remuneration of an internship participant, i.e. the equivalent of $250 per day for 10 days. The company will be able to increase this remuneration and adjust the duration of the internship at its own expense (e.g., by extending it). The bursary will be paid in full by AMJ to the company, which in turn will be responsible for managing the internship and remunerating the intern.
