Notice of meeting

Pursuant to the Bylaws, the Youth Media Alliance (YMA) Alliance Médias Jeunesse (AMJ) hereby services notice that the Annual General Meeting of its members will be held:

DATE: Tuesday November 5th 2024
TIME: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
PLACE: 

In-Person: Centre PHI 407, Rue Saint-Pierre, Montréal, QC, H2Y 2M3

Virtually: A link will be sent to you once you have registered for the AGM

Meeting documents will be sent to registrants a few days before the event.

Proxy

If you are unable to attend the YMA AGM, you may wish to give your vote in a proxy to another member in good standing or one of the Co-Chair. Complet the follwoing proxy form and return it via email to ed-dg@ymamj.org

Documents

Meeting documents will be sent to registrants a few days before the event:

• Agenda
• Minutes of the 2023 AGM
• Annual Activity Report 2023-24
• Financial Statements
• Bylaws revised
• Slate of administrators

Voting Detail

In accordance with the Nomination Policy, a slate of directors is presented for a vote at the AGM. Please note that nominees to the Board of Directors will not be accepted at the AGM, in accordance with this policy. 

The AGM is reserved for members in good standing at least 10 days prior to the AGM.

Conference

Everyone is invited to register for The YMA's Youth Media Conference 2024 and Prix Jeunesse International. The AGM will be held at lunchtime, lasting approximately 30-60 minutes, in an upstairs room at the PHI Centre. The meeting will start as soon as quorum is reached.
